WP7 Announcements from MIX

Todays WP7 keynote was very cool! With over 1500 new APIs becoming available to developers, including sockets, SQL database and real time camera access, the number – and types – of apps is sure to increase.

The keynote video will be up soon (I’ll create a post when it’s up), but you can read the press release here. You can also read more information about the Mango update to the tools in this blog post. One thing that stuck out for me was the improvements to the emulator. You can now simulate the accelerometer and location (which seems quite similar to my GPS simulator ;)).
