NerdDinner App for WP7 (with Source Code!)

As nerds, we like technology. We also like eating. So, NerdDinner seems to be a winning idea! If you’re an ASP.NET developer, you may remember some time back that Scott Guthrie blogged about a free end-to-end tutorial for creating a website called “NerdDinner” using ASP.NET MVC. It was a subset from a book he co-authored, aptly named Professional ASP.NET MVC 1.0. If you haven’t come across this tutorial before, and you are an ASP.NET web developer, I highly recommend it. It’s a great introduction to the MVC pattern. This is a WP7 blog, so I’m not going to discuss MVC/Web Forms etc… However, I’ve come across a cool Windows Phone 7 client project that uses NerdDinner’s oData endpoints and see dinner locations on a Bing Maps overlay. What’s more, the source code is available for you to look through and learn from! Check out amazedsaint’s blog for info and link to the source code.
