Few Quick Tips for your WP7 Related YouTube Videos
July 19, 2010 1 Comment
Quick tip to developers who are uploading videos of their projects on YouTube.
1) Make sure the video is public / listed. Unlisted videos can only be found by those who have the actual links, so anyone searching won’t come across it.
2) Use “wp7dev” as one of your tags. This is commonly used to search for new videos regarding WP7 development.
3) Include your website address, if you have one, in the description box.
4) If you don’t want your ‘share statistics’ public (e.g. user’s can see information on what sites users found your video from), then make them private. You can do this by going to your video whilst logged in, clicking on the arrows next to the number of views and selecting ‘private’.
Some of these might sound obvious, but they’re often easy to forget. Happy uploading!
