I usually tweet information like this, but since this new beta development kit is pretty big news to developers, I thought I’d post these two pieces of news here:
MSare holding virtual training sessions called “Windows Phone 7 Jump Start” which will guide you through the development of applications (Silverlight and XNA) for WP7.Event registration is free and anyone can take part via the magic of the internet! The dates and titles for the courses are:
- July 20 – 8am (PST): Session One: Getting Started with Microsoft Windows Phone and Silverlight
- July 20 – 1pm (PST): Session Two: Programming Game Applications with XNA
- July 22 – 8am (PST): Session Three: Programming Applications with Silverlight
- July 22 – 1pm (PST): Session Four: Review and Wrap Up
Secondly, if you haven’t read the Windows Phone Blog over the last couple days, then I recommend a quick visit over there since there is a lot of information regarding WP7
